Michael A. Ungerbuehler & Paul E. DeHart III have been helping community associations with their legal needs for over a decade. In 2008, they teamed up at the Association Law Firm to exclusively focus their practice on providing legal services to community associations. Their vision is simple: to offer communities in Florida a better and more affordable community association legal product. The Firm is built entirely on their philosophy that Community Matters - a Firm-wide commitment to helping boards build strong and healthy communities.
Mike and Paul have significant experience handling association legal matters. They have drafted and revised governing documents and other corporate papers, handled collections and covenant enforcement activities, provided general corporate advice to client board members, engaged in mediations and arbitrations, and handled association-related litigation matters through trial and appeal.
Prior to starting the Association Law Firm in 2008, the pair developed diverse legal backgrounds that have helped shape their perspective when handling the legal needs of community associations. Mike's practice previously included real estate transactions, general business law, commercial litigation, and real estate litigation. Paul, a registered patent attorney, once focused his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, including intellectual property litigation. Both Mike and Paul have been handling homeowner and condominium association representation since they started practicing law. The Firm is now dedicated exclusively to representing the needs of associations throughout Florida.
Mike and Paul are supported at the Firm by a highly competent team of attorneys and paralegals, who are all equally committed to the Firm's philosophy that Community Matters. An important part of successfully managing the Firm's Team involves their commitment to leadership and the personal and professional development of Firm employees.
Mike and Paul both graduated from the University of Florida College of Law. Mike also has a Master's Degree in Real Estate from UF's Warrington College of Business, and Paul has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from UF's College of Engineering. They are passionate double Gators who bleed UF orange and blue.
